Session-1: Basic Fundamentals of Dispersed Multiphase FlowsDate: 4th October, 2024, 7.00-9.00 PM (IST)
- Explore the fundamental length and time scales associated with multiphase flows.
- Understand the core mechanisms, including volume and ensemble averages, and delve into statistical descriptions.
- Discuss linear mechanisms, including the BBO equation, Saffman and Magnus lift forces, and particle-wall interactions.

- Examine pseudo-turbulence and turbulence modulation, and understand their effects on particle settling and dispersion.
- Explore various computational approaches, including Fully-resolved, Equilibrium-Eulerian, Euler-Lagrange, and Euler-Euler methods.
- Learn how these approaches are utilized to simulate and analyze complex multiphase flows.
Session-3 : Advanced Computational ApproachesDate: 6th October, 2024, 7.00-9.00 PM (IST)
