ISTEM Research and Development Body
As an ISTEM Research and Development Body, IDEED actively supports research, innovation, laboratory resource sharing, project development, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The institute encourages researchers, faculty members, and students to engage in scientific and technological advancements that contribute to national development and knowledge creation.
Institute of Digital Education and Employment Development is a prominent Central Autonomous Institute body and part of EDUSAT committee GoR and Member Secretary, ISTEM IDEED State Level Committee in the state of Rajasthan, IDEED is recognized by AISHE and NAD for higher education and work under NPTEL, MHRD and a Scientific Research Institute under I-STEM, PSA. Department of Science & Technology established IDEED e-Vigyan Pathshala at SATCOM (Satellite Communication Centre) IGPRS as a study and examination for various programs initiated by the Government under and in collaboration with IDEED. Later, as per the requirement of Aspirants, teaching departments were created at the campus and virtual and e learning was introduced during academic session with some non conventional and professional courses. Subsequently in the year, teaching of conventional NPTEL 9th to postgraduate programs was introduced on the campus vide NPTEL ID .
By providing best vocation and technical training through out India. IDEED Autonomous body Part as L.C. Institute of NPTEL and IDEED is working in the state after being established in 2023. from 2024 IDEED will work under the autonomous body ISTEM SLC, HTE Department Rajasthan. SWAYAM is a programme initiated by Government of India and designed to achieve the three cardinal principles of Education Policy viz., access, equity and quality. The objective of this effort is to take the best teaching learning resources to all, including the most disadvantaged. SWAYAM seeks to bridge the digital divide for students who have hitherto remained untouched by the digital revolution and have not been able to join the mainstream of the knowledge economy.
